Men’s Rights Brisbane Announces Their First Meeting

Over the past 12 months, Men’s Rights Sydney, under the umbrella of Men’s Rights Australia, has been focusing a lot of attention on attempting to reach out to as many MHRAs as possible from all over the country and assisting any interested parties in setting up local men’s rights groups in their capital city or regional area.

As many of you may know, and as announced here, the first group we managed to successfully seed and get up and running was Men’s Rights Melbourne, which is now being run by our good friend Nemo so if you’re in Melbourne and are interested in activism you should send him an e-mail.

What many of you won’t know is that, over the past few months, we have been working hard on getting Men’s Rights Brisbane up and running and it finally looks like it is starting to come together. We still have a long way to go organisationally before it’s official launch can be considered but we are happy to now be able to announce their first real-world meeting where a lot of this stuff will be discussed and, with any luck, worked out. Preferably before too many amber refreshments are consumed.

So, if you are interested in being part of the future Men’s Rights Brisbane, either in an active role or just as a member, or are even just curious & want to come along, have a beer with a few other MRAs, and discuss men’s issues, please consider this your formal invitation. Anyone over the age of 18, regardless of sex, gender, race, religion, nationality or anything else, are more than welcome to attend. Even feminists are welcome (no need for “infiltration”, I promise), provided they agree to remain civil and non-disruptive. If you would like more information or would like to register your interest, you can contact Bryan here.

Alternatively, feel free to simply turn up on the day. Bryan will be identifiable by leaving his black motorcycle helmet on the table. If you see that helmet, you are in the right place.

  1. A blogger broadcasted his views on the topic of incompetence in the Toronto District School Board.

It has to do something about when the journalist called Roselands Junior Public School and the secretary was hanging up the phone calls on the journalist.

It’s not surprising that when a parent called, the TDSB automatically labelled him as a misogynist, or worse a criminal.

If the principal was male, the feminists will be cheering the women to go on a smear campaign, but because it’s a male parent questioning female authority, he automatically gets labelled as a misogynist.
